On Sept. 29 under beautiful late summer, starry skies, JoAnn and Larry Currie hosted the 3rd annual Wine & Song at Music at Big Purple in Greensboro.  Don Lahey, once again provided a selection of fine wines from around the world. Our Music Therapists had a wonderful time pouring samples for guests and talking with them about our programs. Everyone enjoyed the interaction as it gave our supporters a chance to talk with the therapists in the field, working with our clients every day and truly making a difference in their lives. It also gave our therapists a chance to get to know the donors and why it is so important for them to see us succeed. It was a wonderful night for everyone who attended.

All Proceeds from the event benefit the Brenna Currie Scholarship Fund. We provide scholarships to those in the community who would otherwise be unable to afford weekly music therapy.  In the state of NC Music Therapy in not covered by insurance and all families must pay out-of-pocket.  This scholarship fund helps those who would be unable to afford services and whose programs are not covered by other grants we receive.
