Dottie retired from Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools, leaving a career as an Exceptional Children’s teacher.  She taught students with diverse abilities during her time in the classroom, including almost 20 years in the Occupational Course of Study (OCS).  She reentered the workforce in 2019 when she began working with Guilford County Schools as a Transition Coordinator for the district.
