Shelby is a board certified music therapist and Pre-Licensed Mental Health Counselor from
Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. Shelby joined Voices Together in August 2025 as the Western Regional
Clinical Supervisor. Shelby received her bachelor’s degree from Middle Tennessee State
University in Murfreesboro, Tennessee and her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Music Therapy from Lesley University in
Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Shelby completed her music therapy internship at Dynamic Lynks
Music Therapy and Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago and last served as a
board certified music therapist at Dynamic Lynks Music Therapy in Oak Park, IL. Shelby’s
training experience includes providing music therapy for infants and caregivers, neurodivergent
individuals, individuals with complex medical conditions, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and
adolescents looking for support with their mental health.

Shelby is dedicated to supporting a
diverse caseload, striving to provide holistic treatment by applying a person-centered approach
and considering all intersecting identities of the individual and their personal needs.

Shelby is from the same town as Dolly Parton and has met her before.
