MoreAnikko has over 15 years experience in education. She has served in numerous positions at the local and state level. She has experience as a special education teacher, coordinator, specialist, Executive Director of Special Education, and currently is a Monitoring Consultant at the state level. She has a strong work ethic, a deep knowledge of compliance, and is able to support districts and charters in establishing practices to not only ensure compliance but to design programming that is student first and based on good data. Anikko’s philosophy is “To Lead by Example.” Anikko is dedicated to increasing opportunities for individuals with disabilities through program improvement, policy change, and educator development.
Anikko received a bachelor’s degree from Barton College, a master’s degree in Special Education from Grand Canyon University, and an education specialist degree (EdS) in Special Education from Walden University. She received her Doctorate of Education (Ed.D) with a specialization in Special Education from Walden University in 2024.
