Voices Together

Aubrey is a board-certified music therapist who joined the Voices Together team in January of 2024. Aubrey grew up in a musical family and knew early on that she wanted music to be part of her career. Seeing how music therapy positively impacted her grandfather with Parkinson's disease ultimately led Aubrey to study and earn her degree in Music Therapy from Appalachian State University.

Aubrey completed her internship at UofL's Music Therapy Clinic in Louisville, Kentucky, where she had the opportunity to provide services in a private practice setting as well as foster homes, cancer centers, addiction recovery centers, adult day programs, and preschools for the visually impaired. During this time, Aubrey started a music therapy choir for adults with Parkinson's, in honor of her grandfather.

Aubrey is passionate about coming alongside clients to foster communication, autonomy, social skills, and overall quality of life. She uses a person-centered approach to therapy, tailoring each session to the strengths and needs of her clients. Aubrey enjoys working with clients of all ages and diagnoses and truly loves finding new ways to reach and engage clients through music therapy.
