Voices Together

Ayanna-Moné is a board-certified music therapist who believes it is her life’s purpose to help individuals reach their goals through music. As a South Florida native, she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in music from Bethune-Cookman University and Master’s degree in music therapy from Florida State University. She completed her internship with a private practice in Tallahassee, Florida, where she also worked with clients post-internship. As a part of their team, Ayanna-Moné enjoyed facilitating bilingual group sessions for children 0-5 years and their guardians, sessions at various preschools with a focus on the five developmental domains, and leading cognitive-stimulation sessions at assisted living and memory care facilities.

Once she finished her graduate degree, Ayanna-Moné found herself in North Carolina. Throughout her music therapy career, she has affirmed her love for working with clients with varying disabilities, older adults, and preschool-aged children. Here at Voices Together, she creatively implements the VOICSS® model in sessions to fulfill this purpose by working towards self-advocacy, communication, autonomy and other related goals with her clients. Ayanna-Moné has co-presented with the CEO on behalf of the organization at conferences along the east coast. She is also a Clinical Trainer who helps new hires grasp the concepts of the proprietary model to use in their work. In her spare time, she enjoys performing, doing makeup, good eats, and walking on trails.
