Voices Together

Bailey grew up in Vienna, West Virginia, and attended West Virginia University, where she completed her Bachelor of Music in piano performance (pedagogy) and minor in Spanish.  Pursuing her master’s degree in music therapy and a music leadership certificate, Bailey attended Ohio University following her time at WVU.

Bailey completed her music therapy internship with Fairfax County Schools in Virginia, working with elementary school students on communication, emotional/behavioral, academic, and social goals. Bailey’s clinical work during her time at OU focused primarily on music therapy in middle school multiple disabilities classrooms. As a graduate assistant, Bailey supervised student music therapists working in many different settings. She also gained research experience during this time as one of the researchers for an NEA-funded music therapy study.

Outside of music therapy sessions, you can usually find Bailey reading (especially mysteries!), spending time at the beach, playing games and escape rooms, or at her church playing on the worship team or volunteering in the nursery.

Fun fact

Bailey loves to travel! She’s visited half of the states in the US and 5 countries (including living in Spain for five months) and has many more on her bucket list.
