Corey is a board-certified music therapist who is passionate about the empowerment of her clients through music. The VOICSS® model affirms her passion by emphasizing the self-advocacy and independence of clients through awareness and self-expression.

Corey is originally from "The Peach State" where she grew up in Atlanta, GA before moving to North Carolina where she attended Queens University of Charlotte, majoring in music therapy with a minor in psychology. Prior to joining Voices Together, Corey completed her music therapy internship at West Virginia University School of Medicine, where she helped plan and lead music therapy sessions for patients of all ages and medical diagnoses at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital.

When she's off the clock, Corey loves taking on new crafts, performing in operas and spending time outdoors with her dog, Moose.
