Joseph Harper is the Director of Operations for Voices Together.  Joseph joined Voices together in May of 2025.

Joseph has over 15 years of experience working in human services. He has held several different roles across his career: directing day programs, community-based programs, coordinating and writing behavior plans and also working as a direct care provider.

He started his journey in this field as a Play Assistant in an inclusive afterschool program. It was here that he fell in love with this population and decided he had found his chosen career path. Upon moving to the United States, he began his journey as a Program Aid before he was promoted to Behavior Specialist, a position he held for many years within the school system. Joseph then transitioned to the Non-Profit world where he was the Assistant Director of Community Services and then later, the Director of Meaningful Day Services at a local NC organization.

Joseph, an English native, moved to the United States of America in 2017. He graduated from Northumbria University with a First Class Honors Degree in Sports Coaching (BSc). Joseph majored in coaching sports for people with disabilities and teaching paralympic sports. He recently became a father and is a very proud dad of a little girl!

Fun Fact:

Joseph is an avid Disc Golfer player and is very involved in the disc golfing community. He has organized several events and tournaments, with the proceeds often going towards charities for people with disabilities. He competed in the 2023 Amateur World Championships in Illinois and did not come last! Joseph has an open invite for anyone who wants to play or learn the sport.
