Marcos joined Voices Together in March 2024 as a Program Coordinator for the Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) programming. As a new member of the team, they are excited to join Voices Together’s work in empowering and supporting self-advocacy in neurodivergent individuals.

Marcos has lived in North Carolina for the majority of their life, having immigrated to the United States from Brazil at a very young age. They graduated with a Bachelor's in Psychology from UNC Asheville and a Master's in Social Work from UNC Chapel Hill. Prior to joining Voices Together Marcos served as a Case Manager and Outreach Coordinator for MPACT Strategic Consulting’s work on the Discrimination Financial Assistance Program (DFAP). In this role they supported farmers across the east coast who had faced discrimination in USDA lending.

FUN FACT:

Outside of their professional life, Marcos is a huge nerd that enjoys creating art, crafting, and playing tabletop games. They also have two very spoiled dogs that they are more than happy to share pictures of.
