MoreRiley joined Voices Together as a Music Therapist in May of 2024. Riley aims to create spaces of inclusion and connection where people feel valued for who they are. As a neurodiversity-affirming music therapist, Riley is proud to meet their participants where they’re at and focus on each individual’s unique experiences, strengths and support needs.
Before joining the team at Voices Together, Riley was a music therapy intern at Levine Cancer Institute, where they had the opportunity to provide support and increase coping for patients and families navigating cancer and treatment. Riley enjoyed facilitating music therapy experiences to help patients explore their emotions in a creative and adaptive way.
Riley is originally from Georgia, and after moving to Charlotte for college, graduated with their Bachelor of Music in Music Therapy from Queens University of Charlotte in 2023.
Riley loves arts and crafts, and enjoys crocheting, painting and coloring.
