Sandee is a board-certified music therapist and VOICSSⓇ Certified Music Therapist (VMT).  She joined the team in June 2022. Sandee uses the VOICSS® model to empower individuals to enhance and strengthen their communication skills, social and emotional skills. Through music therapy, she aims for her clients to feel confident, independent and become a self-advocate.

Sandee grew up in New Jersey and holds a bachelor's degree in Music Education from the University of Florida and a masters degree in Music Therapy from Florida State University. She completed her internship with the Tampa Bay Institute for Music Therapy where she worked with clients with TBI and students who are neurodiverse. Prior to her career as a music therapist, Sandee taught music in Florida and North Carolina. While teaching at a school for students who are neurodivergent, she was awarded CEC Suncoast Teacher of the Year for Pinellas County, FL. When she is not running music therapy sessions, Sandee enjoys spending time with her family and working on very challenging puzzles.
